Venturing into the world of handguns can be intimidating to new shooters. In most training programs the language, training styles and resources available are primarily developed for men. For many women this results in a classroom and range training atmosphere that doesn't fit their needs.

In the J&K class students learn how to safely and confidently handle a firearm regardless of their gender (the course is open to ANYONE); previous firearms experience or comfort level.

The class is conducted over two evenings with a rest day in-between. The first evening, students will be in the classroom learning the fundamentals of firearms safety and the basic use of handguns. The second evening, students will be on the range learning to shoot using semi-automatic handguns

Tuition is $300/student

Tuition includes all required training materials, firearms, ammo/etc.

Reed’s Indoor Range hosts the monthly meeting for the Silicon Valley Chapter of Armed Women of America.
